Construction management can begin while the design is developing or at a later agreed stage. Depending on the appointment, our role may cover:

How the management process works
Set responsibilities
Agree the scope of our appointment, decision-making process and communication arrangements. Clarify who contracts with trades and consultants and how payments will be managed.
Create a working plan
Bring together drawings, pricing, procurement needs and schedule dependencies. Identify missing information and decisions needed before the next stage can proceed.
Coordinate delivery
Organise site activities, follow up on trade requirements and communicate progress. Track approved changes and their effect on cost and sequencing.
Close out systematically
Coordinate the review of outstanding work and collect the agreed handover information. Confirm which items are complete and which still need attention.

How is construction management different from general contracting?
The contracting and payment arrangements can differ. We explain the proposed structure and responsibilities in the agreement before you appoint us.
Can you work with consultants we have already hired?
Yes. We can coordinate with your existing team. Design and engineering decisions remain with the appropriately licensed professionals responsible for those services.
Does management include every project cost?
No single scope should be assumed. Management fees, trade costs, consultant services, allowances and exclusions need to be identified in the project agreement.
